The Under-Desk heater We Built for the Real World
We built this under-desk infrared heater for the places where space is at a premium and the work doesn’t stop just because it’s cold. Think tight industrial corners, compact workstations, and the kind of environments where downtime isn’t an option. The goal was simple: give you instant, focused warmth right where you need it, without a giant heater taking over your floor.
Power that fits under your desk
At the heart of this unit is a 2500W infrared tube running on 400V. That kind of power density is exactly what you need to get serious heat fast, but in a package that stays small. And that 400V rating? It wasn’t an afterthought. It’s there so the heater plugs straight into standard workshop power—no extra transformer, no hassle. We kept the whole thing at just 300mm long for a reason. It tucks cleanly under the desk, out of the way, so it doesn’t crowd your workspace. You get the warmth, not the clutter.
The core that can take the heat
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-quartz heating tube. The quartz shell is tough—built to handle the shock of switching on and off quickly, and to stay solid under serious internal heat. Then there’s the halogen gas. It does a quiet, important job: protecting the filament so the heater lasts longer. For the connection, we went with an R7s base. It’s the standard for high-wattage tubes because it gives you a solid, two-point contact that can handle the full 2500W load without getting sloppy or overheating. Even with machines humming and vibrating around, the connection stays stable.
Made for the workshop, proven on the floor
This heater is the kind of solution you just set and forget. It slips right in, and instantly delivers infrared warmth straight to the person working—not to the whole room. Now, with this much heat packed into a small space, a little planning matters. You’ll want to make sure there’s proper clearance and ventilation so everything runs cool and steady. And if something does go wrong in the first year, we’ve got you covered. Our one-year warranty means we’ll handle the replacement through our global support network. Because when your line is running, warmth isn’t a luxury—it’s part of keeping things moving.
